Please do not use the assessment if any of the following currently applies to you.

• You have any numbness or tingling in the area around your genitals and back passage? eg. Does it feel strange around these parts when you wipe yourself?
  If this is the case, please contact NHS 24 on 111.
• You are currently under medical supervision (for example attending a clinic or taking medication) for a cancer related illness.
• You are currently awaiting test results and have a further appointment with your GP.
• You have widespread pain in lots of body areas.
• You have pain under one or both armpits.
• You have undiagnosed abdominal pain.
• You are pregnant or have given birth within the last ten weeks.
• You are aged 15 or below.

In any of these circumstances, please contact your GP.
